Humane Society of West Michigan invites our community to help us raise funds for The Buddy Fund during the month of April.
The Buddy Fund is our medical fund which provides treatment to our neediest animals. These treatments include surgeries, medications, rehabilitation services and longer term health care. This fund is dangerously low and we are approaching the warmer months where we always see a rise in the number of animals suffering from abuse and neglect.
Did you know that HSWM spends over $200,000 yearly on medical care for these homeless pets so they can be adopted into a new, loving home? It costs us $200 (minimally) to care for an animal with a broken bone? As the temperatures heat up, animals become more and more active and we see more of them enter our shelter with injuries. HSWM is 100% donor funded - we receive no funding from the government or national animal welfare organizations. Please help by donating today!

Win! The person who raises the most money during this Challenge will receive 2 tickets to our upcoming event, K-9 Cabaret on May 17th at the Centennial Country Club.
