This is the orgainization I work for. Besides being such a great organization to work for, the mission it sets out to accomplish is one that in this day and age is a true necessity . Let me tell you a little bit about it.

Sheldrake’s mission is to inspire environmental awareness and action in our community and to preserve, protect and enhance local environmental resources. Participation in our ecology programs not only teaches ecological concepts to the members of the community but also enables them to become effective stewards of the natural world.

Located at the 60-acre Larchmont Reservoir - James G. Johnson, Jr. Conservancy, straddling the Mamaroneck-New Rochelle (New York) border, it offers a variety of programs for families, schools and scouts that foster a better understanding and appreciation of local ecology and encourage nature exploration.
