I am honored that I was invited by TEAM LUPUS to run the NYC marathon November 7, 2010.
I was diagnosed at 15 years of age with Lupus,when little was known about the disease.
There are many challenges of Lupus and many people do not understand the disease because most of the time I don't look sick.
Having Lupus has taught me to have compassion for other people who are sick, and has taught me to live life to the fullest.
Lupus has such a strong inpact in my life, I feel like having Lupus is a gift from God and It has made me the strong person I am today!
