Devina and I have another year under our belt… in the linear sense and in the ninja sense! This past year we have been studying Shotokan Karate and just recently earned our yellow belts! It has been an exciting year for Devina – she is participating in upward bound and is more excited than ever to attend college and she earned a 3.5 GPA for her first quarter of high school! I couldn’t be more proud her.

BBBS has contributed many items to Devina to help her on her road to success: new school shoes, a backpack, provided a safe, fun atmosphere for activities and so much more. I know what a difference these things have made in her life and how grateful she is to know where she can turn for support.
