Thanks so much for visiting my Run Red fundraising page. As a volunteer member of the disaster action and mass care teams at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, I've seen first hand how reliant we are as an organization upon donations and fundraising. Yet, I've also seen firsthand how much we can do with very little, and I feel confident knowing ARC of Greater Chicago uses their entirely donations-based budget for helping individuals and families around the world recover from disaster, and build healthy lives.

Having been able to personally respond to fires and floods and help individuals empower themselves to recover and move forward after a disaste, I know how very important donation are to the organizations. Every little bit helps, as the expression goes, and helps in incredible ways.
