My father was diagnosed with Huntington's disease in 1985 and battled bravely until 2009.  I was diagnosed in Feb. 2009 and stopped working as a PT, a career I loved.  I stopped driving in Sept. 2010.  My HD symptoms include balance and coordination problems, frequent falls, short term memory problems  HD is a progressive degenerative movement disorder.  There currently is no treatment or cure for HD.  So my family and I are committed to pray for a cure.  We also are dedicated advocates, educators, fundraisers, and participate in research.  Please join my team and walk in Portland to raise funds and awareness of HD.  The walk in on  Sat.
