Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. My father was diagnosed with Huntington's disease in 1985 and battled bravely until 2009. I was diagnosed in Feb. 2009 and stopped working as a PT, a career I loved. I stopped driving in Sept. 2010. My HD symptoms include balance and coordination problems, frequent falls, short term memory problems HD is a progressive degenerative movement disorder. There currently is no treatment or cure for HD. So my family and I are committed to pray for a cure. We also are dedicated advocates, educators, fundraisers, and participate in research. Please join my team and walk in Portland to raise funds and awareness of HD. The walk in on Sat. Oct 1 at Willamette Park; register at 9 AM and walk at 11 AM.
