This is Addy.  She came into our little family in June of 2006 as a wee little pup of 6 weeks.  She has brought so much joy, amusement, and love into mine and JR's life.  I know it sounds weird  but she really is like a daughter to us.

We first heard about the Basset Shuffle that August from a friend of JR's who also had a basset.  Since then Addy hasn't missed a shuffle since and she is the 3 time musical mats champion!!!

Addy is training vigorously day and night for this shuffle or walk-a-thon.  She is on a grueling training schedule and diet to be in the best shape for this year.  Her goal is to win the 10 yard dash this year and beat the "basset" who won last year.

On a serious note, any donation will go to the North Texas Basset Hound Rescue.  Every year they rescue 80-100 dogs.  This year has been extra hard because NTBHR participated in the largest puppy mill seizure in Texas history and the dogs need extra medical attention to treat the medical ailments that most of them have.
