San Diego Alex's Lemonade Stand 2008
We began holding our annual Alex's Lemonade Stand in 2005 after hearing the story of Alex at a play date. With two healthy young girls, we are thankful for our good fortune, and want to be involved. We feel it is important to set an example and show our children ways to give back to our community, especially through a Foundation that is giving their money directly to research. Each year our Stand has grown, and we plan to continue raising funds and awareness of the deadly disease for years to come.
The radio station FM 94.9 has helped us immensely through the years. They have done a live broadcast all day at our house! This year is no different. Come and drink some lemonade, listen to music, make an Elvis siting, educate yourself and meet members from your community all in one day!
