Camp del Corazon

Help me support this great organization, and reach my goal of sending 1 camper to camp (it costs approximately $1500/child each summer for this expirience)... Thank you for your help in making a difference in these children's lives.

Below is my camp story...

"Thumper" started back in 2004 as a simple camp name, but has grown to be a piece of who I am.  When I started here at Camp del Corazon, it was supposed to be just one summer to help out with the ropes course, but for me has become a lifelong commitment.  The experiences I have had at this camp, and difference it has made in my life are indescribable.  I am a better person for having been a part of this organization, and need your help in giving back to them. 

The children you meet at camp all have stories of being in the hospital, of being different from all their peers, and of the pain they feel on a regular basis.  But at camp none of that matters.  It is one place they get to go every year where they are NOT different from everyone else, NO ONE tells them they can't play.  It is a safe place where they can have new experiences and test their limits.  Camp del Corazon is the place where they get to just be a kid, and that is the most precious gift any of us can give these children.

Please help me in supporting this organization, and giving back to make sure that this experience remains available to all children who face the challenge of growing up with heart disease.  Every little bit helps to make sure that they never have to tell a child they can't go to camp.  For more information about their programs check out www.campdelcorazon.org .
