The Heart Connection Children's Cancer Programs provides support, resources, and inspiration for families affected by childhood cancer.
As many of you know, our 7 year old daughter, Maddeson Billmeyer, was diagnosed on Feb. 2, 2009 with a rare, childhood cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. Our family is still very new to living with and coping with Maddeson's disease but we realize how important The Heart Connection is to families just like ours.
The Heart Connection Children's Cancer Programs provides many programs for children facing cancer and their families. Without support from donors like you, through events such as Run, Rock, and Stroll, these programs would not be possible. One of the best aspects of this organization is that 100% of the funds raised stay in Iowa! All children served by The Heart Connection either live in Iowa, are treated in Iowa, or were diagnosed in Iowa.
