Dear Friends, Family and fellow animal lovers:

My sisters Anne, Rachel and I are co-chairing this year's March for the Animals to in memory of our mother, Jane.

Over the years, our family has adopted many of our dear pets through our amazing local SPCA chapter, which is the first open-admission no-kill shelter to open in the country.

Those of you who are lucky enough to know our feline pals -- Jane's cats Sophie and Rosie and my cat, The Amazing Chester -- know what these animals mean to us. Our animal companions bring an extra dimension to our human lives, and we'd like to honor them by supporting the ongoing work of the SPCA.

Rachel, Anne and I will be "marching for the animals" with our children, friends and neighbors on October 1st in Dryden, NY. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to support the important work of the SPCA.
