As you may or may not know, a friend and I jumped in Lake Michigan one night last year for our own little personal Polar Plunge.
Am I a dumb person?
No.
Am I a stubborn person?
YEYAH!
We were a bit more hardcore about it than the actual event, because the air temperature was 12 degrees. Although we dedicated our intimidation with death to our undergraduate career, I wanted to be a bit more productive with it this year. Please consider donating $5 dollars to my fundraising page. All proceeds will go to Tree House Humane Society, so that they can better take care of their abandoned kitties. The reason why I think this is extremely important now is because Bella was abandoned during the Winter. Although, she luckily survived by being rescued by Tree House, the frostbite took parts of her ears. Come on! I know that I have some good-hearted friends...
We will be dominating the lake on Saturday, December 18th (my last day of finals, WOO!). The exact time is TBA, but it will be dark.
I am only asking for a $5.00, but donate what you can if that would be an issue. I will be intense about it, and refuse to battle with death once again this year if I do not meet my modest Fundrasing goal; especially, because I failed last time!
We will have the wonderful photographer, Alanna, taking pictures and filming the entire event-- stemming from the bathing suit posing to the falling flat on a piece of ice (which totally DID NOT happen last year). Also, feel free to join us afterward for tea, booze, food, and other warming things as I serenade you by the fire.
Think about it, the end of the year is coming about, and you should do something good to finish it off!
