I originally wanted to join this walk to help a good friend of mine.  Her family has been affected by this disease for several years now.  Reading her story and talking to her about her very personal journey motivated me.  She also inspired me in more ways than I can list.  Shortly after joining this team I was given the news that my own family is also now being affected by this disease.  I want to help raise funds to find a cure and I hope you find it in your heart to donate to this walk.  Pretty happy about the fact my husband & son (Cameron) are also participating in the walk!!!
