2011 FCDSN Annual Buddy Walk
It's about acceptance. That is my reply when someone asks "Why do you participate in the Buddy Walk?" The Buddy Walk is an opportunity to raise funds for a non-profit organization called the Flower City Down Syndrome Network, http://www.fcdsn.com/. It is a wonderful, heart-warming event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome.
Alex has had an amazing year. He turned four years old in July and will begin his second year of preschool soon. He continues to make progress with speech and other areas of development. Alex is such a charming, affectionate, motivated, silly little guy and we are so proud that he is our son. Please check out what he has been up to this past year:

If you are interested in joining us on the walk, please arrive at North Ponds Park in Webster on Sunday, September 25th at noon.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Please feel free to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
With much love and gratitude,
Nick, Andrea, Maya, and Alex Chervenak
