Description: BCAN - the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network - is the first national patient-based advocacy organization dedicated to bladder cancer issues. Founded in May 2005, BCAN is a cooperative effort among bladder cancer survivors, their families and caregivers, and the medical community.

Mission: BCAN’s mission is to increase public awareness about bladder cancer; to advance bladder cancer research; and to provide educational and support services for the bladder cancer community.
