Hi, I'm Noah's Tia Jo Ann & I would like to thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

The pic on the left is one I took of him at last years Buddy Walk & he had a blast comin' down that big 'ol slide!!!

Ok, real quick, I would like to educate you a bit about Down Syndrome & the FADSS society.  Many people may not know exactly what Down Syndrom (DS) is all about so I will give you a brief rundown.  DS occurs when an individual has three, rather than two, copies of the 21st chromosome. This additional genetic material alters the course of development and causes the characteristics associated with DS.  So basically, Noah just has more of him for us to love!

All people with DS have the same emotions and needs as any other person & they deserve the same opportunities.  Early intervention services help people with DS develop to their full potential. This is where FADSS comes in!  FADSS is a nonprofit socitey that provides programs for the many amazing families touched with Down Syndrome.  These programs promote awareness & education about DS as well as quality educational programs to help enable people with DS to lead fulfilling lives.
