Hi, my name is Tawnie!  I am 15 years old.  I am raising money for the Davis County Chapter of the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation. We are doing our annual Buddy Walk September 19th.  I would like you to be a part of my team.  There will be a 5K run, the walk, and games, food, and music.  I will be dancing.  You can register  at www.firstgiving.com/udsf and walk with me in the park.  It will be fun!  If you can't come, you may want to help me with my fundraising goal by donating online.

I love being in high school.  I am a peer tutor for other people with special needs.  I love ice skating.  I love listening to my ipod, and singing.  I like being an actress.  I also like hanging out with my friends.  I love dancing, cooking, scrapbooking, talking on the phone to my friends. One thing that might be different about me is that I like to fold laundry.   I like to study about Joan of Arc.  She saved France.  I want to make a difference like Joan did.  I know I won't get shot with an arrow, but I know I still have to stand up and make a difference for what I believe in.
