Tree House Humane Society is a cageless, No kill animal welfare organization which specializes in the rescue and rehabilitation of sick, injured, abused, and neglected stray cats. We believe every animal deserves a second chance and no matter what the situation or medical issue, we are there for them. We rescue cats that others would often classify as “unadoptable” due to health issues that are too costly or difficult to treat and are therefore euthanized by traditional shelters. We provide much needed medical treatments, rehabilitation, and comfort and care for as long as each animal needs. Since our founding in 1971, we have adopted out more than 16,000 cats and have provided free or low-cost sterilization for more than 20,000 companion animals. It is because of support from individuals like you that we are able to continue to rescue and rehabilitate some of the most vulnerable animals and work toward creating a No Kill Chicago and Nation!
