Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

 If there's one thing I have always believed, it is that there is no such thing as "just a cat" or "just a dog" or "just an animal".  Animals are just as alive and as individual as we of the two-legged variety, and they deserve our help and love.  This was why I adopted my cat, Munchkin.  She's my best friend and I think my life would be much worse without her.

 This is why I have chosen to raise money for the Tree House Cat Shelter.  Tree House was one of the first cageless, no-kill cat shelters in the country.  I'm going to be running in the Fox Valley Marathon this coming September.  This will be my first marathon and I figured the best to celebrate this was by raising money for the kitties in this wonderful place.  I guess this is my way of "paying it forward".  If what I do here, helps someone find their best friend who makes their life better, maybe they will do the same and do something to make life better for some kitties, allowing someone to find their best friend, etc, etc.
