Andrew Bui's Water Scare Sponsorship Page!
Anyone who knows me closely know I'm a total goofball and joke around a lot, but there are a few things I'm very serious and passionate about. This is one of those things. As part of Engineers without Borders, I'm helping with a project that could change over 4,000 people's lives and give them access to something we take for granted every day; clean drinking water. A town in Guatemala, San Lorenzo El Tejar, now only gets as little as 2 hours of water a day, some families only receive water before sunrise. This race, which I am proud to be organizing as well as racing in, will help raise funds for our project, which is to give the community of San Lorenzo El Tejar a sustainable and reliable system to receive clean drinking water.
I really appreciate you coming to this page and for taking to time check out our cause, it really does mean a lot to me. Giving people access to basic necessities of life is something that means a lot to me. I know we can't change the world over night, but like I've learned with all humanitarian efforts, don't try to save the world, just do small things with a great amount of love. I am running and organizing this race with a great amount of love for these people, for this community, and for this project, so thank you for your support!!!
Please feel free to visit our site for more info on our project and our organization and members!! If you feel like you want to run the race, please visit our site to register!! Thanks so much!
