Even though we can bait our own hooks and clean our own fish we can' t eat them; Dad won't let us because he says all of the inland lakes in Michigan are so contaminated. So we throw them back.
We are riding this year in the Eco ride  and raising money for Toxic's Free Kids, a program at the Ecology Center to reduce hazardous chemicals in toys, cars and all sorts of consumer products.  Did you know that the Ecology Center uncovered heavy metals in Purple Crayons? Shocking isn't it?  It is a good thing there is an Ecology Center.
