Thank you for visiting my "Plunge" fundraising page. They say anyone with a little guts and a warm heart can take the "Plunge" and I am one of those folks. 100% of your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in sports training and competition.
To join my official team, "Ladd's Plunge Team", click on the "Join My Team” link to the above right and follow the directions. You must raise a minimum of $75.00 to be eligible to join my plunge team. When you join my team you will receive a commemorative hooded sweatshirt. We will be plunging at 8:00 AM on Saturday, February 27 at Northwestern Beach in Evanston. Make sure to be there at least 1 hour before plunge time.
You can also have a chance to win more incentive items based on the amount you raise!
$250 - Official Plunge beach towel

Directions to Plunge: From the north on I-94 (Edens Expressway) - Exit at U.S. 41 (south) and continue south to Lake Avenue (second stoplight). Turn left (east) on to Lake Avenue and travel about 3 miles to Sheridan Road. Turn right (south) on to Sheridan Road and follow the green-and-white “Sheridan Road” signs when Sheridan bends. Once you are on campus, go south on Sheridan to Lincoln. Make a left on Lincoln, Lincoln bends to the right when it meets Lake Michigan. The beach is just north of the Sports Pavilion.
From the south on I-94 (Edens Expressway) - Exit at Dempster east. Travel about five miles on Dempster Street to Chicago Avenue. Turn left (north) on to Chicago Avenue, which merges into Sheridan Road about three-quarters of a mile north. Once you are on campus, go north on Sheridan to Lincoln. Make a right on Lincoln, Lincoln bends to the right when it meets Lake Michigan. The beach is just north of the Sports Pavilion.
