Raising money for diabetes is important to us because our Papa Paul, my (Andrew's) teacher, Mrs. Moore, & our cat Zero have diabetes.  Too, our mom and dad lost a dear friend just a little over a year ago to diabetes.  So, we're going to go door to door in our neighborhoods, call all of our family and friends, and work as hard as we can to raise money.  Last year, we collected almost $1,100.  Our school, Bloom Elementary, had a goal of raising $14,000 total last year and we collected a whopping $22,000!  Our school's goal this year is $15,000.  If we reach it, Superintendent Berman & Principal Bobo are going to spend the afternoon of May 9th on the roof of our school.

So, help us send them to the roof AND help treat and research juvenile diabetes!
