In case you didn't know, this June will mark my 15th year as a leukemia survivor. Since my diagnosis, a lot has changed in my life, but the greatest blessings I have had since that time are getting married to my wife Cher and we now have 3 beautiful children - Macie who is almost 6 years old, McKenna who is now 3 and Norah who turns 1 in April.

My good fortune is directly related to the efforts of the Leukemia Research Foundation (LRF) and the many people who have supported this organization over the past 60+ years. While we have made great strides in research, one thing has not changed and that is that children and adults are still being diagnosed with leukemia and many of those diagnosed don’t survive.

On Monday, July 13th, 2009, we will be hosting the 10th Annual Megan Cooper Memorial Golf Outing benefiting Andy’s Chapter of Hope of the Leukemia Research Foundation. Megan unfortunately lost her battle at the age of 8 in 1993, but progress to find a cure continues to be made. We are joining the LRF fundraising program and ask that you help sponsor us to raise money for leukemia research. With your help, we can find a cure for leukemia.
