Dear Friends, 

Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. As you may remember, I was diagnosed with leukemia 16 years ago at the age of 22. Shortly after my diagnosis with the help of family and friends we started Andy's Chapter of Hope, which is a chapter of the Leukemia Research Foundation to help raise funds in pursuit of a cure for leukemia and to support patients stricken with this terrible disease.

To continue our efforts I am joining the LRF fundraising program and ask that you help me raise funds for leukemia research through our upcoming event - the 11th Annual Megan Cooper Memorial Golf Outing, which is being held on Monday July 12, 2010.  Unfortunately, the Cooper family lost their daughter Megan at the age of 8 back in 1993, but they have joined our fight to find a cure for leukemia and all blood cancers.

While we have made great strides in research, one thing has not changed and that is that children and adults are still being diagnosed with leukemia and many of those diagnosed don’t survive. Your continued support is greatly needed and with your help, we can find a cure for leukemia.
