Welcome to our 2011 Frank's Quest team fundraising page!  Our team will be participating again in the annual Ready, Set, Run fundraiser supporting the Autism Center of Tulsa.   Last year we had our largest team ever (approximately 40 people) - including family, friends, students and teachers from Frank's school who came out to join us at Hunter Park for the Fun Run.   Each year Frank looks forward to and is able to participate more fully in this event.   Because of all the love and support Frank receives from people like you he has had an amazing year full of exciting "firsts" and successes.   Some of these include winning a bronze medal for softball throw at Special Olympics last May, spending the night with his grandparents (several times :-), riding elevators, escalators and carnival rides, having his haircut professionally at a barbershop (versus at home by Mom), having peer friends at his birthday party, talking to Santa Claus, traveling more (and enjoying it!) with his family and many, many more.  Last year our team was able to raise over $6,000 for the Autism Center of Tulsa and we hope to raise even more this year.   They are a truly great local organization that provides hope, help and valuable resources to families affected by autism in our community.  Some of these activities include "Sibshops - workshops for siblings of children w/autism and other disabilities, a special sensory-friendly Santa at Promenade mall, and other family-friendly community events such as movies, bounce, parties, Fall festival, and swim parties.   Please join us for the Fun Run at Hunter Park on Saturday May 7th at 10 a.m. and/or make a donation to Frank's team.
