Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
This is my second year as the NYC Paddle Event Director and my third year working with the Global Autism Project.
I've been working in the autism field for over six years, and I have yet to encounter another organization like the Global Autism Project. This non-profit organization works with children with autism in developing countries, providing training in Applied Behavior Analysis and sustainable business practices to existing autism centers. The fundamental belief that all children with Autism and their communities deserve effective resources guides the Global Autism Project's work, as well as the belief that education leads to understanding and acceptance of differences.
"Our vision is of a world where all children with autism will have access to effective services wherever in the world they live."
The Paddle for Autism Awareness is the signature fundraising event for the Global Autism Project. This event pairs experienced kayakers with children with autism and their friends and families for a day of summer fun. Many of these children will go out on the water for the first time in their lives! But this event is not just for children with autism. I'm paddling this summer and you can too! Please visit our website to learn how you can get involved: www.globalautismproject.org.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
