Diggin' deep to help the Anti Cruelty pets!
Happy Spring Everyone!
Welcome to Team Timber's Website! Here we are skidding in at the last moment! Angi, Frank and Timber are gearing up to participate in our third season in a row for .....................
Bark in the Park 15, happening Saturday, May 2, 2009. WOO!HOO!
This event brings attention to, and raises funds for the Anti Cruelty Society animal shelter of Chicago. It's often said that need has no season. As we look around and remain tuned in to the economic current events we realize that the need now seems especially urgent. More pets than ever have been given up to shelters across this country this year. Fondly referred to as, "foreclosure pets," families are being split up because of job losses and are having to give up their homes and pets they can no longer afford to keep and continue to care for. All of us are affected by what's going on. Everyone is trimming back spending and cutting back to the basic needs. I can't even imagine having to drop off my pets at a shelter and how difficult a decision that must be. We're getting out there to do our thing for the pets that need us this year and making our own donation. Please, if you are fortunate enough to have the resources to help this year it would mean more than ever! We look forward to another great Bark in the Park event and helping out once more:) We know the pets at the shelter truely appreciate all we can do for them!
