Hi Everyone!  We bearly have time to cool our heels from "Bark in the Park" before we do it again!  We are again doing back to back walkathons this year.  WHEW!  Welcome to our C.A.R.E. "Strut for Strays" Fundraising Page!  We can't wait to get out there and do our bit for the shelter pets right here in our Evanston Shelter.  "Strut for Strays" is this Saturday morning, May 8.  We appreciate all the overwelming generosity and support from all of you for our favorite causes.  CA.R.E. is our local Evanston Animal Shelter and this event raises funds for this all volunteer shelter.  We enjoy doing these projects and the walkathons are great fun. We know everyone's budgets are stretched these days, though the need at the shelters is overwelming.  We want to let you know we're out there doing our thing and trying to make a difference for the little guys at the shelter who need us to look out for them.  Feel free to make a gift to C.A.R.E by using this webpage and supporting us or just come out for the walk with us.  If you would rather give in a different way, consider donating supplies that the shelter uses everyday.  High  quality pet food, paper towels, bleach, towels.  Be sure to check the website for the shelter wish list!  Better yet, if you have room in your heart and home there are many wonderful pets who would love a new family to love them and give them new homes and a second chance.  Thanks so much everyone and Happy Spring!
