I would like to ask your support for my dear friends and their son Chase Langland.

Chase Langland will be 3 years old June 1, 2008. This is a huge milestone for him as he was diagnosed with SMA Type 1 when he was 7 months old. Statistics show that only 50% of the children diagnosed with this disease live past the age of 2 years. SMA Type 1 is a muscular disease that prohibits Chase  from walking, talking, sitting on his own, and many things that a 3 year old can do. He has very limited mobility.

He is such an amazing little guy, he has a smile that will light up a room. There have been many scientific breakthroughs over the past year which hopefully will help to find a cure for this disease.

I would like to ask for a small donation to help children with SMA and specifically Chase Langland. With the help of our small donations, it might make a big break in finding a cure. I thank you and I know Chase, Sherry and Matt are very appreciative of our efforts.
