WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

On Sunday, September 23rd, we will be walking in the 2007 Illinois Waddle!  This event is held every year in Dwight, Illinois as a benefit for the Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, Inc.  GABR works to raise money to save more than 300 bassets every year!

It costs, on average, $175 in excess of the adoption fee for every dog rescued to cover vet costs. GABR ensures that every basset is spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots before they are adopted to a new home.  GABR's vet bills are currently averaging over $10,000 a month.

Jerry & I have been involved with GABR for 8 years and are proud to have fostered over 75 bassets. Every one of them truly holds a special place in our hearts and in our family!

Over 3,000 Bassets have been rescued by GABR to date and placed in new homes! In accomplishing this remarkable feat, almost $1 million has been spent providing these animals with excellent veterinary care. This could not have been done without the help of wonderful volunteers like you and your support during the Illinois Waddle.
