I'm raising funds for these causes through the American Paint Horse Foundation's "Bat Masterson Trail Ride," to be held May 2, 2009, at Benbrook Stables, near Fort Worth, Texas.

I have always had a love for riding and being around horses. Now my work with the Fort Worth Business Press is giving me that opportunity, because we have formed a strong alliance with the Fort Worth-based American Paint Horse Foundation.

Over the past two years, the Paint Horse rides have raised $30,000 for St. Jude's through these outings at Benbrook Stables.
