There are more and more children – and families – that are finding themselves removed from the outdoors whether through the urban-suburban environment they live, economic challenges and even the changing focus to a childhood of sedentary, indoor activities. We were very fortunate to not only spend time outdoors as children but also helped encourage that habit and sense of appreciation in our children, Alex and Sam. Unfortunately, there are so many that don’t have that opportunity.

This is why Camp Grady Spruce is so important to us: For every donation made to Camp Grady Spruce, a child gets an experience that can change their life. Some will grow up to be counselors, some will be volunteers and others will donate $ for scholarships. Together we all make a difference in the world.
