I recently convinced ARFhouse Chicago (www.arfchicago.org) to take in Frog, a 12 year old Schnauzer who was dumped at a kill facility in downstate Illinois.  His owners decided to move and did not take him with them and no other shelters would give him a chance.  The day after we received him, we took him to the vet, only to find out that he needed emergency surgery to remove multiple kidney stones.  Frog came through surgery like a champ and even though he's 12 years old, we think he has a lot of good years left in him.  Unfortunately, the surgery cost $2,700.00 and has depleted the majority of our emergency funds.

Please donate to cover Frog's medical costs and help spread the word about this wonderful companion!  Once he's recovered, he will be looking for a home.  His foster home has nothing but good things to say about him.
