Hello everyone! It's Anna Cuccuini and I'm getting started with my fundraising to go to Camp Seale Harris this summer! This is a camp for kids and teens living with Type 1 Diabetes.. Can't wait to see how Camp 2012 will be! This will be my fifth year going to this awesome camp! I can't tell you how much I love this camp! I am so blessed to have so many people that have sponsored me these past years and I need more sponsors for this year.. ..I've got to start fundraising early because this year my tuition for camp is $690.. Will you please sponsor me for my camp? Every dollar goes toward my tuition and if I reach my goal I will also get to help other kids go to this wonderful camp and learn about Diabetes..This is all tax deductable.. When I was five years old I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes . I have had to live with Diabetes going on 8 years now. I have to check my blood sugar TEN times a day or more! My fingers were so sore at first, but I have gotten use to it. At first I was on shots , up to 4 a day but now I am on the pump, which makes it alot easier.When I was eight my mom told me about Diabetes camp (Camp Seale-Harris) so that summer I went with my best friend Katelynn Weatherford and that was the year she got diabetes! When I got there I read a sign that said 'Welcome to Camp Seale Harris' When my parents went to register me, Katelynn and I drew on some shirts they gave us. We get to stay all week, night and day and get to make friends with other kids our age going through living with Diabetes.Believe me it is great meeting kids of all ages with Type 1 Diabetes like me...Camp Seale Harris teaches us alot and I mean alot of stuff about Diabetes.
