 In memory of Patricia (Trisha) Klaput               

   It's hard to believe a year has gone by since my sister, Trish lost her battle with Metaplastic Carcinoma. She was only 58 years old. As we attempt to adjust to our world without her,celebrating births weddings, and graduations, we continue to support programs that help other families that are facing a cancer diagnosis.                                                                                 

   A young mother takes her 3 year old son to the pediatrician for a bad cold, only to learn he must undergo a 3 year treatment regiment for Leukemia. A relative, who lost her sister to Lymphoma in 2004, has to say goodbye to her dearest friend of 30 years. Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer.

  Last year I set a goal of $7,000 ....$1000 for each year of her battle. Our Team consisting of 9 members of the "Eberhart Family Tree," raised contributions totaling nearly $1,500. It was a great experience, even though my husband and daughter had to take turns pushing my wheelchair! The Goucher College Campus is beautiful, and the event was very well planned with lots of vendors offering refreshments and wellness related information, speakers, and awards! My family will once again have to push me in my wheelchair , so I can be a part of the excitement and share the mood of the other participants.(I have limited mobility due to Neurofibromatosis). That's another whole story! Sooo, you can join us in this effort to enable cancer patients and their families to have access to resources that may not otherwise be offered to them. I encourage you to consider helping us reach our goals to fulfill the MISSION of HOPEWELL CANCER SUPPORT, to create a community for all people with cancer, their families, and their friends. Please pray about being a part of the HOPE.
