Michelle Litteral Brock, 40, or Corbin, KY, went to be with her heavenly father on June 26, 2009 while at home surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Corbin High School and Georgetown College. She fought Huntington's Disease courageously and graciously for years and touched many through the process. To know Michelle was to love her. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Litteral.
She is survived by her dedicated mother and caregiver, Anna Litteral; two sisters, Angela (Les) Williamson and Robin (Matt) McCollough, and one brother, Jeff (Lynn) Litteral; five nieces, Marsee (Russell) Huffman, Megan Williamson, Morgan (Jon) Preston, Brooke Litteral and Macy McCollough; one nephew, Benjamin McCollough; one step-niece, Anza Connaughton; one step-nephew, Cutler Connaughton; and one great-nephew, Masen Huffman; sister-in-law, Darlene Litteral; her angel and best friend, Rose Jones; and special friends, Marcee Watkins Hopper, Jody Johnson, Rachel Jacobs.
Special thanks to Professional Home Health Care Agency, Friends and Companions Adult Day Care, Hospice of the Bluegrass and the many nursing aides that have cared for Michelle over the years. Visitation will be held at Corbin Funeral Home on Monday from 5-9. Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, Corbin on Tuesday at 2pm with Rev. Paul Sims officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
