Melrose Alliance Against Violence 16th Annual Walk & Candlelight Vigil
“Domestic violence does not only happen to adults. Forty percent of girls age 14 to 17 report knowing someone their age who has been hit or beaten by a boyfriend, and approximately one in five female high school students reports being physically and/or sexually abused by a dating partner.” Senator D. Feinstein
As a mother of 2 young girls and a survivor, I am determined to teach by example ~ love and respect ~ and break the cycle of domestic violence.
On Sunday October 23rd, the Melrose Alliance Against Violence (MAAV) will hold their 16th Annual Walk and Candlelight Vigil. This event is to honor the victims of domestic violence and raise awareness and funds for MAAV's prevention programs.
Please join me in supporting MAAV and the very important work that they do in our community. Walk with our team and help me reach our fundraising goal.
Thanks You!
