While Amy Steele is spending the next year dominating cancer, let's you and I team up to give her the best possible chance for a long and healthy life. Melanoma is the most dangerous type of skin cancer, and it has an incredibly high rate of recurrence and survival rates that could be much improved. Research for new and better treatments need to happen now and donating to that research is one small thing we can do right now to put the odds in Steele's favor.
On Saturday, August 11, I'm going to run/walk three miles for TEAM AMY STEELE. Donations go directly to the Melanoma Research Foundation.
Will you walk/run with me or make a donation to TEAM AMY STEELE?

PS In honor of Steele, go get your own moles, freckles, birthmarks, beauty marks, age spots, etc. checked. Dermatology appointments seem come with a 3-4 month wait, but for you locals, here's a great one who just opened her own practice in Roseville and is taking appointments the same week. I saw her, it was easy, and she will now annually check my skin for anything suspicious, including keeping an eye on three specific moles.
