3rd Annual Rockin' for Kids
Down-N-Out will perform with other local teen bands in concert at the University of Louisville Swain Activity Center on Saturday, February 20, 2-5p.m. to benefit Kosair Children's Hospital music therapy program.
Music can soothe and calm. It can also help lift spirits. At Kosair Children's Hospital, music provides comfort and distraction for kids coping with cancer, dealing with a critical condition and overcoming psychiatric issues. Music also helps tiny babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
In addition to a concert, the event will feature activities such as inflatables, Guitar Hero, fastest drummer, face painting and a silent auction.
