2nd Annual Rockin' for Kids
Seven local teen bands from Louisville School of Rock will perform a concert at Louisville Slugger Field on Sunday, March 15, 2-6p.m. to benefit Kosair Children's Hospital music therapy program.
Music can soothe and calm. It can also help lift spirits. At Kosair Children's Hospital, music provides comfort and distraction for kids coping with cancer, dealing with a critical condition and overcoming psychiatric issues. Music also helps tiny babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
In addition to a concert, the event will feature activities such as inflatables, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, fastest drummer, face painting and a silent auction.
