Video Game Marathon Fundraising Page
During my holiday break,I will be participating in the 24-hour video game marathon to benefit Kosair Children’s Hospital! It's like a walk-a-thon but instead of walking, my friends and I will play video games. (All video games are included- even the ones on cell phones, facebook, etc). The idea is to get kids engaged to help other kids during the holidays. The money raised, every penny of it, will go directly to benefit Kosair Children’s Hospital.
Through the Kids for Kids program, students get to be involved in community activities that benefit our children’s hospital.
More than 109,000 children come to Kosair Children’s Hospital each year for specialized care to treat virtually every medical condition. The hospital and its services give kids the chance to live long, healthy lives. No child is ever turned away because of his or her family’s inability to pay.
Each participant has a set goal to get at least 4 people to sponsor them for just $1/hour for 24 hours. I ask you to consider making a gift to help me achieve this goal. I want this year to be a tremendous success and we need your help to achieve it. I will gratefully accept any donation you are able to make, big or small. All donations are tax-deductible and you will receive letter with the hospital’s tax id number within one month of donating to my page.
