Dear Family and Friends,
Lauren has been making great achievements in physical therapy this year and could be walking just in time for DSACO’s annual Buddy Walk. Lauren has been eagerly learning signs to show us what she needs. Her favorite sign is bath. Lauren is our little bear. She can bear walk super fast and she likes to growl! We all get big bear hugs from Lauren. The best hug is when daddy comes home from work. Lauren gives him the “come here” sign and gives him a big hug! (I think it is daddy’s favorite part of the day too.)
The Buddy Walk is Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma’s yearly fundraiser. Our family has been involved with DSACO since Lauren’s birth, receiving valuable information, attending an Oklahoma City conference, gaining support from others in the group, and celebrating together at play groups and holiday parties.
