See this face? She was at the Ride for Kids Houston 2009 and was on my Firstgiving page 2010. She wasn’t here in April this year. This innocent 5 year old lost her life to a brain tumor. They couldn’t find a cure for her. This is a face that keeps the passion alive when you work to raise funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. No child or family should have to go through what she did in her short life.
Phil & I are raising money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. There were 18 children in the April Ride for Kids 2010. Ride for Kids has become a cause we believe in. We have met some remarkable children that have been affected by this disease. These children should not have to suffer and their families should not have to deal with the loss. Brain tumors continue to be the #1 killer of children under the age of 20. We believe that the research funded by your generous donations will one day soon find the cause and cure of brain tumors in children.

Our 2011 ride date is Sunday April 24th at the HumbleCivicCenter. We ride for the kids rain or shine. Please join us if you can.
Great progress has been made in this terrible disease. In 2010 our ride raised over $290,418, but much is still to be accomplished.
Ride for Kids is the motorcycling community's way of showing how much they care. Our mission is in support of the efforts of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation of the United States, a non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) foundation that seeks to; find the cause and cure of childhood brain tumors through the support of medical research; increase public awareness about the severity and prevalence of childhood brain tumors - aid in early detection and treatment of childhood brain tumors - support a national database on all primary brain tumors - provide hope and emotional support for the thousands of children and families affected by this life threatening disease.
