Hi, friends!

Thanks for visiting my "Personal Fundraising Page." As you likely have heard through various strains of gossip--all of which I started--I'm going to Brazil in March with a group of Clark students. We are participating in a Directed Study in Social Entrepreneurship, and will be visiting an organization in Sao Paulo that we feel represents a practical and creative response to social need, and meeting with an Ashoka Fellow. This is a super exciting academic opportunity for me and I would gladly speak more about what our work will include to whoever is interested. 

But seriously, you're probably here because you heard there was food. I don't blame you--in fact, I'm cooking some right now. To help raise some funds for myself, I'm running a raffle...for baked goods. The deal is this: you buy one, two, three "tickets." You will not receive an actual ticket, but I'll write your name down and place it inside an opaque container. At the end of about one month, I'll pull a name from the container. The person who answers to that name is the winner and will receive a treat baked by me once a week for a month. What a deal! The "tickets" are reasonably, and strategically, priced:

$5=one ticket

$8=two tickets

$10=three tickets

$15=FIVE tickets!

$20=TEN TICKETS!!!

 

As you can plainly see, this is incredible. Even friends in places like Somerville, Cambridge, Albany, Delmar, and Brooklyn may enter: winners living in far off places will receive a special care-package once a month. What could be better?

 

Your donations can be made these three ways:

1. Electronically, using this site. 

2. Check or carefully concealed cash via the US Mail service. 

3. Check or cash handed directly to me.
