NEWS (1/4/09): I'll match 10% of every donation made through this page by January 15th. Spread the word!
This page is dedicated to the loving memory of my late stepsister, Corrie. Corrie lost her battle with brain tumors in 2000, at the age of 19, after fighting her illness bravely for years.
Corrie was born on September 9, 1981, in San antonio, TX. She loved playing soccer, and was an accomplished artist; she was talented at painting, drawing, photography, and scrapbooking. Thanks to her creativity and love for the arts, she has left many wonderful treasures for our family to cherish.
Though she was not on this earth for near long enough, Corrie will always be remembered for being smart, considerate, talented, brave, and compassionate to everyone with whom she came in contact with. She was truly a special person, and an inspiration to all of us who knew her. There is no doubt in my mind that those who knew Corrie well will never forget her.
Corrie, we will always love you and miss you.
For more information on Corrie's life, you can visit her full memorial page, maintained by her mother and father, by clicking here.
The Children'sBrain Tumor Foundation:
The Children's Brain Tumor Foundation is a nonprofit that's really near and dear to my heart, which is why I've set a goal to raise $500 for their organization. All donations made through this page go directly to the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation. Please show your support and make a donation today, whether you can contribute $1 or $100, to support children suffering from brain and spinal cord tumors.
Founded in 1988 by parents, physicians, and friends, the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) is a leading nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the treatment, quality of life, and the long term outlook for children with brain and spinal cord tumors through research, support, education, and advocacy to families and survivors.
I've been active in the CBTF for a while, and I hope you will become active, too. They have a great website, and a strong Facebook following, including a Facebook Fan Page, a Facebook Group, and a Facebook Cause.
Thank you,
Anthony Davis
