Area 16 Sponsor-A-Champ for Summer Games

Welcome to Area 16's  Sponsor-A-Champ for Summer Games 2013!

The Summer Games are held each year on the campus of Central Michigan University.  This year's Games are May 30 - June 1st.   . Our Kalamazoo Athletes have already begun their training so that they can compete in Bocce, Power Lifting, Track & Field, Gymnastics and Swimming at these games.

The State Summer Games are a great way for our amazing Athletes showcase their athletic abilities.

Once again this year, all of our Summer Games teams have grown. We are striving to be able to afford to send all of our Summer Sports Athletes to this year's Summer Games.  At this time, we have a delegation of approximately 150 to fund!

To do this, we need your help. In addition to transportation costs, the cost of sending each Athlete, Coach, Chaperon and Medical Staff to Winter Games is $100 per person. By donating all or part of this cost, you are helping to send our Kalamazoo Special Olympics Team to the 2013 Summer Games.

As always, because Area 16 is run entirely by volunteers, 100% of your donation is used to provide for our Kalamazoo Athletes.
