Update: Julia is a candidate for eye surgery and we are proceeding. Here is the estimate of her medical bill.

Julia is five years old and is completely blind in her left eye due to cataracts. She will have exploratory surgery to see if her retina is undamaged, another one for the surgery to remove the cataract and put in an artificial lens if the retina is still good. The doctor say that usually cataracts develops in both eyes around the same time.  The one in her left eye looks very young.  The longer she goes without developing them in the right eye the better the chances that she will never develop them. In addition to this condition, she has also had a mammary gland tumor removed. It was nearly the size of a baseball.
