This time of year always brings to the forefront those very sad memories when we first found out we lost our first grandchild. It has been 2 years since she became an angel in Heaven. Time does indeed heal sharp pain and certain special events facilitate that healing. Last year we were blessed with a healthy baby granddaughter who recently celebrated her 1st birthday, and Jordan Ruth became a sister to Nora Annabelle.  Some day Nora will learn of the sister she never got to know.  I still hesitate when people ask how many grandchildren I have........I always want to acknowledge the existence of Jordan who may have been born still, but was still born, although by so doing I am reminded that she is not here with us enjoying the tremendous love we wanted so much to give her. Angel Names Association was there for the Peterson Family when we most needed support and the comfort of others who shared our pain because they too knew what it was like to lose a child.  Each year I find myself drawn back to ANA to walk in Jordan's memory, and maybe even more importantly, to share my story with grieving parents and grandparents that there is HOPE for the future.  This HOPE is evidenced every year by the addition of children from those same families who grieved in years' past.  These same families, like me, return year after year to acknowledge the birth of a loved one who didn't make it.....  And so this is my small way of helping the work of the Angel Names Association for all the wonderful work they do, to walk in memory of my first granddaughter and to raise money for future parents who need our help.  Won't you help me by making any donation you can to support this very worthy cause?
