I have been diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome since 2002, but I have been having symptoms since about the age of 6. I first participated in the Sjogren's Walkabout in 2007, joined the Greater Washington Walkabout planning committee in 2008, and proudly stood with my mother, Jackie Richmond, as her company, JVR Communications, became one of the major sponsors of the event in 2009.
